  4. Purpose of the register

    Scouter Mobility Oy uses the data contained in this register for communications, marketing purposes and the cultivating of customer relationships. The processing takes place to cultivate customer relationships, as per the data subject’s consent or the controller’s legitimate interests.

  5. Data contents of the register

    The register may contain the following personal data for the purpose of the register:

    Contact information: name, address, e-mail address, phone number, company or organization represented by the data subject.
    Other information provided by the data subject.

  6. Sources of data

    Data is collected about the data subject from event registrations, campaigns, feedback or newsletter sign-ups. Other sources of data are different customer and collaboration contacts and personal selling. Personal data may sometimes be acquired from a third party for a one-off marketing purpose.

  7. Disclosure and transfer of data

    No data is disclosed nor transferred without the data subject’s consent, unless it is enabled or obliged by law or it has to do with our obligations to authorities.

    Tasks related to the purpose of this register may be carried out by subcontractors of the controller, and data may be transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area to provide the service, when necessary. In such cases, the controller shall ensure an appropriate level of data protection, by using contracts, to meet the statutory requirements.

  8. Storage period of the data

    The data controller shall only keep the data for as long as necessary for the purpose of the register.

  9. Security principles of the register

    Databases that are used to store contents of the register are technically and physically secured to protect the data from outsiders. Access to data is limited to individuals who would not otherwise be able to carry out their work tasks.

  10. Right of access and correction and right of erasure of personal data

    The data subject has the right to cancel their newsletter subscription at any time.

    The data subject has the right of access regarding their personal data, the right to request the rectification or erasure of their personal data from the register.

    We will take relevant measures to erase any obsolete or unnecessary data from the register.

    Access, rectification or erasure requests shall be made in writing and signed, and sent to the person responsible for the register.

  11. Right to data portability and right to restriction of processing

    The data subject has the right to receive their personal data, which they have provided to the controller, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable and interoperable format, if the processing is based on a consent or agreement and if the processing is conducted automatically.

    In accordance with Article 18 of the EU General Data Protection Act, the data subject shall have the right to obtain a restriction of processing.

    The right to data portability and the right to a restriction of processing shall become effective on 25.5.2018.

  13. Changes to Privacy policy

    The controller may update and change this Privacy policy from time to time. We will inform our data subjects of any changes, when we are required to do so by law.
